Paul Batt

Director of Construction, Westcourt

Paul is the Director of Construction for Westcourt, JMA’s mixed-use development in Orlando, Florida. He participates in all preconstruction activities including budgeting, preparation of design documents, selection of and contracting with all construction related partners, and all jurisdictional permitting and approvals. He is also responsible for hiring and managing JMA’s local project staff.

Paul has 40 years of experience in construction management and general contracting, including 30 years with Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, where he was the department head for the Hotel Development Team that delivered 6,600 hotel rooms and associated amenities.

Education: Bachelor of Building Construction from the University of Florida. Certified Florida General Contractor CGC060819 (inactive).

Fun Facts: Paul’s construction career has taken him to 40 states, from Florida to Washington. His father was a fighter pilot in the Marine Corps and his brother and sister were both helicopter pilots in the Army.
