Lillian (Lil) Phillips

Director of Investor Relations

As Director of Investor Relations at JMA Ventures, Lil is focused on bringing in new equity partners and managing existing relationships for JMA’s robust pipeline. For over a decade, Lil was the Principal at a family office in New York City focusing on alternative portfolio investments which included hedge funds, venture capital, private equity and commodity funds. She has significant experience in picking best-in-class managers, manager due diligence and sourcing deals.

Prior to her time on the family office side, Lil worked at Lehman Brothers on a Wealth Management team and prior to this role, she spent a decade in Los Angeles on the business side of the entertainment business with Davis Entertainment at Twentieth Century Fox and Creative Artists Agency.

Education:
Lil graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in political science and a minor in film.

Fun Fact:
Lil makes collage mixed media art and has had one gallery show. It’s a passion project she enjoys doing in her free time.
