Collin Casper


As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Collin oversees the financial, treasury and accounting functions for JMA and its managed assets within the portfolio. He provides financial strategy and guidance to the accounting team, implements financial controls and oversee compliance initiatives for the firm. He is also responsible for managing risk and insurance for the portfolio, along with all aspects of tax preparation.

Collin has more than 15 years of experience across various sectors of hospitality, with experiences in sales, marketing and manufacturing. Previously, Mr. Casper worked for Homewood Mountain Resort (a current JMA Ventures managed asset) from November 2016 to March 2021, most recently as the director of finance and business solutions. Collin served as consulting chief financial officer for Stratovan Corporation, which provides 3D medical imaging, surgical planning, and diagnostic software, which he joined in August 2016.

Additionally, Mr. Casper was the co-founder and chief financial officer of VinPerfect. Inc. which he started in September 2010 and left in June 2016.

Active in the community, Collin is the treasurer for his local HOA and he holds an elected volunteer role, serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the US Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA). In this role, he acts as the organization’s Dean for over 5,000 collegiate athletes across 160+ universities.

Education: Collin holds an MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management with an emphasis in strategic management of organizations. He received a bachelor of science, in management science, with honors, from the University of California at San Diego.

Fun fact: Collin is also a volunteer chef at the US Collegiate Ski and Snowboard National Championships. You’ll find him sourcing food and producing 3-course meals for over 50 volunteers, making sure they are well fed and have enough energy to produce a top-tier competition.
