Located just outside the eastern gate of Yellowstone National Park, Red Lodge Mountain is Montana skiing, pure and simple. Dating back to late 1800’s, it’s a quintessential ski town that maintains a classic old West feel, helping it rank in National Geographic Adventure’s list of “Top Adventure Towns”.While Red Lodge is certainly majestic and adventurous, it also possesses a quiet and understated culture that celebrates food, wine and the arts. The resort has over 63 trails spanning 1,600 acres, as well as an 18-hole golf course, which creates a year-round playground for outdoor enthusiast.
When we acquired Red Lodge in 2007, our vision was to enhance an already great place with updates and improvements that would honor the original context while adding contemporary services and amenities. The end result is a one-of-a-kind resort that’s among the greatest small resort ski towns in North America and certainly a favorite here at JMA to spend time visiting.
