Director of Operations – Red Lodge Mountain
Eliza cut her teeth in the ski industry as a ski instructor while in high school in Maine. After college she went on to pursue a career that would take her to the mountains, where she found a wonderful opportunity with Red Lodge Mountain, where she has worked for almost 25 years. As an Operations Director, Eliza manages a team whose focus is providing exceptional customer service to their guests while maintaining a sustainable business model. Her team of managers provides outstanding products and services for both skiers and golfers, including retail and rental shops, restaurants, banquets, guest services, and professional instruction.
Eliza also serves as the Vice Chair of the American Snowsports Education Association, which certifies over 30,000 snowsports instructors nation-wide and works for the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) as a member of their Alpine Education Team, taking her to resorts across Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota.
Eliza’s adventures away from her job include being outdoors and traveling with her family in the Rocky Mountain backcountry, both on foot and on horseback.
Education: BS in Physical Education and Outdoor Recreation Communication Studies from Ithaca College and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Villanova University
